Compaq Presario V2414NR Windows 7 Sound Driver (Fix No Sound)

Audio Driver for Compaq Presario V2414NR (Win 7) :

Conexant CX20468-31 AC97

Part 1 : Try Update the driver.

1) Open Device Manager (Windows Button + R) then type "devmgmt.msc" and Press Enter.

2) Right Click on the Audio Driver(with yellow "!"). Right Click > Update Driver Software

3) Don't Search for Driver Online, select Manually Install Driver > select Don't search I will choose the

    driver to install. Browse to c:\swsetup\sp30399

4) Highlight sp30399 and click Open. Follow the instruction.

Part 2 :When Above doesn't work

1) Download driver sp30399

    Download

2) Run(Double Click) the sp30399.exe

3) Go to the extraction folder (Default: c:\SWSetup\SP30399)

4) Right Click qta3091.inf > Edit :

Search code block(CTRL +F) :

Just below the code block that you found above, Paste this code below :

After you paste the code, you should see as below :

To make sure the the string you enter is correct, Open Device Manager (Windows Button + R) then type "devmgmt.msc" and Press Enter.

Under Sound, Video and Game Controller, Right Click on your Audio Device > Properties >

Details Tab > Expand the Dropdown Menu > Hardware ID

You should see as follow after you've completed the steps above :
